Democracy at Work

Dear Customers and Friends,

Here at M33 Access we are committed to the future by constantly looking for new and innovative solutions to give our customers the best possible experience no matter where they live – and occasionally we need you to help. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed rules to allow access to the unused spectrum, known as “white space,” in VHF and UHF TV channels 5 – 51 for unlicensed broadband applications starting in February 2009, less than one year from now. This proposal provides companies like M33 Access a great new opportunity for broadband deployment. This new technology will allow us to bring you signals over much longer transmissions and even through buildings and trees – which means many of you who have not been able to get high-speed service because you are in valleys or behind trees could get great service, often at lower costs.

To make this incredible opportunity a reality, the FCC must be persuaded by Congress, industries like ours and consumers like you to expeditiously complete the final order on this white space proposal. We urge you to support this opportunity in all or any of the following ways:

1. Mail a letter to your Congressman and Senators, urging them to contact the FCC and request quick completion of this decision. Link to Letter

2. Electronically file a letter on the FCC filing site, urging them to quickly complete this order. Link to Letter
