 Lawson F. and Anne L. Chambers Scholarship

Kirtland Community College

 

Students are encouraged to apply for the  Lawson F. and Anne L. Chambers Scholarship.

 

Scholarship requirements are:

  • Student in good standing from  zip codes 48654 and 48635 (Rose City and Lupton)

  • They fill out an application saying why they are the best choice

  • I think the form asks for a letter of reference/support

 Interested students should visit the Financial Aid - Scholarship section  of the Kirtland Community College Web site. 

Students needing assistance with the scholarship application should contact the Financial Aid office.

 

The financial amount is yet to be determined.

Family Fun Night

Description:
A Family Fun Night will be held for Alcona County families at the Alcona High School auditorium on Thursday, March 18, 2010. The evening will begin with a free dinner at 5:30 p.m. of hot dogs and chips, until they're gone and then an evening of entertainment follows.  Magic acts, Goofy and Cat-in-the-Hat, dancers, a special act by Alcona County's own law enforcement officers and sing-a-long songs with Judge Laura Frawley. The event is for Alcona County families and is free.
